The Story behind Goldshape
Goldshape is a Belgian 3D design and prototyping company founded by Thomas Patt in 2022.
Driven by a passion for product creation and the creative potential of modern technology, Goldshape was born.
Meet the Founder
In 2019, Thomas Patt walked out of Thomas More High School ready to jump headfirst into the world of design and creativity. After completing a course in creative design and production, his eagerness to learn more about modern technologies led him to explore engineering at KU Leuven. Not wanting creativity to take a backseat during this period, he started his own fashion brand, One-Off Antwerp, marking his first dive into the fashion scene. Soon, he began combining his passion for design and technology by creating his Origin Collection, including both clothing and jewelry.
During the process of designing and making jewelry, he discovered his passion for jewelry design and the endless possibilities within this field. Driven by this passion, his studies took a backseat, and he delved further into goldsmithing and design courses.
After finishing his studies, he decided to split his career path by working as a freelance jewelry designer as well as an innovation engineer. After 2.5 years, he brought his passion for jewelry design and engineering together by creating Goldshape, a company that blends jewelry design with modern technology and introduces innovative ways of designing and creating jewelry in this industry.
Born and raised in the Diamond City, he returned to his birthplace in 2025 to establish Goldshape in the heart of the Antwerp jewelry scene, enabling him to work closely with established names such as Wouters & Hendrix and Salima Thakker.

Goldshape began as a custom jewelry design company dedicated to crafting unique pieces that tell a personal story. By seamlessly integrating advanced 3D technologies with traditional goldsmithing, the company expanded its expertise and launched a specialized 3D design department to support businesses and entrepreneurs. In this way, Goldshape focuses on boosting the efficiency of existing design and production processes, reducing material waste and shortening lead times.

Beyond creating custom designs, Goldshape also offers digital collection services, managing your 3D models in different sizes to facilitate seamless ordering from multiple casting facilities.
